Our client is one of the country’s leading packaging suppliers. Subsequent to recent expansion, they have a new opening within their production team, and are looking for a multicolour printing expert with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
Our client’s superior quality packaging solutions have ensured an establishment of long-term partnerships with high profile clients. This role would very much suit a detail oriented individual who takes a conscientious approach to their work.
Your role as 1st Minder will be to perform all functions on the assigned press to ensure targets and objectives are achieved, minimising any potential delays to schedules in the process. Implementing your strong UV offset litho knowledge, you will ensure maximum potential output and quality is achieved for the shift period, including setup and permanent adjustment of colour, while reducing waste to a minimum. Candidates must have good experience with multiple coatings and applications.
The 1st minder will ensure equipment is maintained to the highest level ensuring optimum performance, and that the equipment and environment is operated and cared for and working areas are kept tidy, meeting all current Health & Safety legislation and conforming to our client’s standards.
We are looking for someone with the experience to work under minimum supervision. You must have problem solving skills and be able to think on your feet, in order to troubleshoot common issues related to downtime or quality issues.

2 day weekend is 5.30am – 5.30 pm
Late – 1.30pm – 9.30pm Mon – Thu 11.00am – 5.30pm Friday
Early – 5.30am-1.30pm Mon – Thu 5.30am – 11.00am Friday
Night – 9.30pm – 5.30 am Mon- Thu
3 day weekend, 5.30pm – 5.30am Fri and Sat, 5.30pm – 1.30 am Sunday
