Salary: Highly Competitive (Depending on Experience) + Generous Profit Scheme + 31 Days Holiday + Pension

Full Time Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5:30pm

Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke luxury packaging and premium printed folded cartons, from initial concept through to mass production, they sell the full range of products including cartons / boxes, bags, paper and ribbons into a variety of market sectors including fashion, beauty & cosmetics, jewellery and spirts / beverage.

Our client has made key investments and has some very exciting growth plans and are looking for Business Development Managers in France, Switzerland and the US

They are currently recruiting for a motivated, results-driven Business Development Managers, you will need to understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.

The successful candidate is someone who is competitive, financially motivated with a proven track record in sales or have previous sales training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main responsibility is to qualify, grow/create new business within packaging working closely with the client
  • Initially to generate a brief and/or meet the qualified client supported by the originally Lead generator then subsequently with your client services executive
  • Regular communicate the project with the customer until the sales order is approved with quantities, lead-times, prices
  • Always to ensure that the margin is within the parameters set
  • Keep informed as to the project development from your account executive; ensuring the customer and the supply chain is working to the same timeline
  • Product research - investigating and researching the market in order to understand the customers end requirements

  • Listen and explore the client requirements and match against company offering
  • Be excellent at profiling the Buyer for qualifying and managing expectations
  • Clearly communicate back to the Team
  • Delegate and designate responsibilities of the project to your supporting account executive
  • Be prepared & put effort into the sales process through excellent planning and follow-up
  • Languages (European) preferred but not essential
  • Proven track record of success with a minimum of 3 years selling B2B and of a minimum of £1million net paid sales (p.a)
