BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - FLEXIBLE PACKAGING

Our client is a leading flexible packaging manufacturer, supplying film, laminates, lidding film and bags into a range of market sectors including Food, Beverage, Mailing, Pet Food, Security and Retail throughout the UK.
As they continue to expand their market presence, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients, and spearheading strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals.
Responsibilities:
- Selling flexible packaging including; laminate and none laminate food bags
- Managing existing accounts and conducting customer site visits as well as generating new business
- Experience in the food markets is key for this role
- To understand the company product range, including materials and processes of manufacture to achieve bespoke sales propositions for customers
- To efficiently work in your area of responsibility to help achieve company targets and objectives
- Manage existing customer account base through effective communication and building rapport through face to face meetings with the customers, for both new and/or existing accounts
- Building effective customer relationships to ensure key relationships are developed and maintained
