Business Development Manager - Labels

Job Description




Generous Basic salary (BOE)+ Incentive scheme + Company Car / Car Allowance

Our client is an independently owned, well-established, innovative print and packaging company with an exciting range of new sustainable materials to offer to clients.

They have a current requirement for an external Business Development Manager to be responsible for managing and expanding the company's client portfolio, with a focus on labels, including digital and high-performance labels suitable for challenging environments plus other products that you have experience of.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of labels, particularly digital and high performance labels.


  • Identify and pursue opportunities and to sell to new clients.
  • Understanding print and label brokering.
  • Service existing clients circa £400,000 and maintain strong relationships with all clients as well as growing existing work.
  • Provide expert advice on label solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop sales strategies and meet targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the printing or packaging industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You must hold a valid driver's license.
