Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 + commission, company car, laptop and phone.

The Client:

Our client is a built a strong reputation for excellent work in the Large Format, Small Format, Exhibitions, Signage and POS. They have a wealth of experience within the industry and understand the importance of large format & signage and the role it plays when promoting business.

They have an opportunity for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER. The role involves sourcing new clients and business for the company.

If you are a self-motivated experienced business development manager highly professional, well driven and a high achieving sales person then this role is for you:

The Person:

Be in a similar sales role within the Print / Large Format Prints / Exhibition Graphics / Signage and POS

Have a good knowledge of all types of large format print and sign manufacturing and understand the processes involved in sign production

Proven track record of sales within the signage sector and the ability to generate new business in all sectors

Proven experience of hitting targets

Excellent communication skills

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for targeting new business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are essential, as is a proven background in sales
  • The ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Lead generation and appointment making. Maintaining a prospecting database and a CRM.
  • Sales presentations and representing the company at trade events and exhibitions.
  • Working closely with the customer service team and other technical staff to ensure that client briefs are accurately communicated, and clients' needs are met and exceeded.
  • Awareness of the commercials of an opportunity, the ability to source and develop leads that maximise the use of internal production capabilities and profitability.
  • Having a proactive approach to working and the ability to grab opportunities when they arise.
  • Adhere to Company Health & Safety Procedures.
  • Adhere to Company Rules and Regulation.
  • Conduct oneself with decorum, respectability and ethical awareness.

NB: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
