£Open Depending on Experience + Car Allowance + Commission

Our client offers the latest wide format, POS and cutting technologies. They also have more traditional presses such as digital and litho. They're currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be response for growing existing business and targeting new business within the Retail POS arena.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Acquisition of new customers and business development
  • Diversify and expand the company's client portfolio
  • Identify sales leads and potential new markets
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Successful track record in sales and business development and enjoy the challenges of developing new markets and channels
  • Self-motivated, engaging communicator and presenter who can develop a rapport with people at all levels
  • Able to put together business proposals and deliver them with confidence and creativity
  • Able to prospect and cold call and to be held accountable for achieving sales targets and business goals
  • Strong written and verbal skills coupled with an ability to develop, take a brief and communicate it to the wider team
  • Demonstrate sound commercial acumen, a successful track record in managing work in progress and consistently meeting sales and profit targets
  • The successful candidate can be office based or homebased, although will be required to visit the office around 3 days a week
  • Previous experience selling into the FSDU market would be advantageous
