CAD DESIGNER - SIGNAGE

Our client based in the East Midlands is a well-established and respected sign specialist. They have the expertise to design cost effective signage solutions from small jobs to large scale Retail projects.

They are now looking to recruit a CAD Sign Designer to join their team, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using (CAD) software. Your work will support the production and installation of custom signs, ensuring precision and adherence to client specifications.

Software Knowledge: Coral Draw and Illustrator would be advantageous.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for signage projects (Aluminium Signs, Built Up Letters etc.
  • Creating visuals for client approval working with the sales / projects teams taking briefs on client's requirements to create drawings to spec and budget for clients to sign off and approve
  • You will also then need to be able to draw up fully detailed manufacture drawings specifying all dimensions materials to be used & all the details required for the in-house production team to manufacture.
  • Using Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop on a daily basis, previous experience is essential
  • Experience in the signage or sheet metal industry is an advantage
