As a commercial manager, you will be responsible for the management of commercial aspects of the business area including supporting pre-contract and operations, managing commercial risk and opportunity, ensuring the accuracy of quotations, procurement and post-award contract administration support, monitoring compliance with contract obligations and driving value from the supply chain.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and building relationships with suppliers, monitoring, and reporting their performance and compliance. Overseeing the negotiation on financial purchases of with suppliers. Evaluating cost performance data and provide relevant input for monthly performance reports.
Assisting sales director, sales representatives and managers in the preparation of tender documentation and analysis on the work breakdown structure/activity, identifying areas of learning for staff and any recommendations for efficiency improvement.
You have a wealth of experience in lithographic and/or digital printing, built from years of progression through roles such as estimating, production and customer services. You have good negotiating skills with the ability to secure the required outcomes when dealing with people who are process led and not contracted into the project. You have excellent interpersonal skills in creating and maintaining relationships, able to converse with clients and peers to the director level. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to teams within a commercial environment. You will have commercial management experience within the print sector and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities CSP has to offer.
- Developing new business with the aid of the sales team, from existing and new clients.
- Reviewing and developing the operational processes to improve performance within the estimating and purchasing areas, in order to maximise growth
- Managing daily team operations.
- Working together with relevant departments to develop accurate and consistent improvements.
