COMMERCIAL BUSINESS MANAGER WEST YORKSHIRE

£OPEN (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits Package (to include SIPP pension scheme with company contributions / Healthcare and dental plan / 23 days paid holiday plus statutory rising to 28 days / Growth shares)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.30pm with 5pm finish on Fridays

Our client is a privately owned and profitable packaging company supplying and converting OPP, laminates, and specialist films with an enviable reputation for customer service, innovation and product quality. Their customers include some of the largest UK food manufacturers.

They are now looking to recruit a Commercial Business Manager to join their team.

The Role / Requirements:

  • Initially working with the Customer Business Manager team predominantly looking after customers in conjunction with the Area Sales Manager.
  • Support the customers and represent them internally, managing their requirements, stock, orders and proactively sharing market information. Your aim is to generate a first class customer service level and increase the value of contribution from your allocated customer base.
  • You will be building relationships over a period of time rather than a quick sell!
  • The company want to know as many people within their customer base as they can at many different levels. This is done by getting close to your customers by visiting regularly and keeping them up to date with market and product updates. Initially this will be with someone else but eventually you will have your own accounts that you have sole responsibility for. (Pool Cars are available for customer visits)
  • Driving Licence and own transport is essential.


This is a key role for the company. Every customer they have is important. Candidates will ideally have some experience in a customer service role with an ability to understand the clients products technically however they will consider a candidate who has the right attitude and values.
