CUT AND CREASE OPERATOR - CARTONS

WEST YORKSHIRE

Salary: Up to £27,600 plus 33.3% = £36,800 + + Pension Scheme + On-site Parking + Annual Salary Increase + Sharesave Scheme + Long Service Award

Shifts: Continental 3 x 12-hour shifts per week on a 4-week rotating basis

Our client is a carton manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, they are currently recruiting a Cut and Crease Operators to join their packaging manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the setting and running BOBST ExpertCut (PR), 102-E (required), BOBST 76e (desirable) and blanking experience in the production of Pharmaceutical Cartons or other die cutting machinery.
  • You will ensure the producing and reviewing products against the prescribed quality standards/specification supplied.
  • You will be accountable for maintenance and general housekeeping of the equipment.
  • You will be responsible for the effectively running the cut & crease machines, identifying and reporting any necessary maintenance faults and ensuring all jobs are completed accurately and on time.
  • You will meet our production targets as set by the Production Manager and complete all the relevant company paperwork.

Requirements:

  • You already have cut and crease experience ideally with embossing, debossing and braille.
  • Ability to deal with high end added value packaging and to work well in a team of production operatives.
  • Have a conscientious and enthusiastic manner with a can-do approach.
