EXPEREINCED GLUING MINDER

Double Day Shifts: Monday to Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm and 1:30pm - 10:00pm)
Our client is a well-established printed packaging manufacturer supplying into a wide range of market sectors in the UK. They produce packaging mainly for the retail sector which includes self-adhesive labels, linerless labels and printed folded cartons. These are produced using Lithographic, Flexographic and Digital Print Processes.
They are looking for an Experienced Gluing Minder to join their team. You will be operating Brausse Gluing Lines and Boomerang Machine as required. They currently have 4 gluing machines in operation within their lithographic printing division, including 3 Brausse Forza Gluing Machines and a Boomerang Folder Gluer.
** My client will provide full training on these model of gluers, however packaging gluing experience is essential! **
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the Brausse gluing lines and Boomerang machine as required to construct high quality cartons, sleeves as well as a variety of other packaging types
- Organise systems to ensure all jobs for gluing shift are ready
- Manage the quality of packaging gluing and construction
- Assist in the planning of trials for new packaging projects
- Ensure daily schedules are met
- Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain our excellent BRC grade
- Daily maintenance and care of gluing lines and machinery
Requirements:
- An excellent team-working ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Diligent and attentive to detail
- A minimum of 1 year gluing experience is essential
- A pro-active, problem-solving approach
- Experience operating Brausse Machinery or Boomerang folder gluers is an advantage
- Any additional experience in lithographic printing and packaging converting is desirable
