EXTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

SALARY £OPEN + Company Car + Phone Provided + Commission

Our client is a well-established provider of packaging materials and bespoke packaging solutions. They supply a wide range of packaging including tapes, polythene bags, strapping, janitorial products, fitments, cartons, voidfill products, pallet wraps, films, bubble wrap and foam products.

They are currently looking to recruit an External Account Manager to join their team, the role will be 4 days a week visiting customers, 1 day in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Sales Director
  • Develop long term strategic relationships with a new portfolio of prospective clients within a specified geographical location, whilst generating new sales opportunities and growing revenues
  • Meeting set monthly sales & GP targets
  • Working closely with the lead generation team to generate and maintain a high-quality pipeline of future revenue
  • Quoting for stock and bespoke products
  • Supplying samples and ensuring that all product specifications are accurate prior to providing customer quotations
  • Completing the new account form with accurate information prior to accounts being set up on the system
  • Handing clients across the Account Management Team once established
  • Use the reports and data available to ensure strategic planning of activity and sales opportunities
  • Being the face of the company, always presenting the company in a positive and professional way
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is the priority of all daily activities including responding to queries and issues within set SLAs
  • Maximisation of your LinkedIn profile and network for building future relationships with sales leads
  • Achievement of monthly sales and GP targets
  • Quotes sent within SLAs & weekly activity targets
