We currently have 2 vacancies for a skilled print finishers working a 3 x 12.5 hour continental type shift pattern

This highly motivated individual will need to display a professional approach to their work and have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude towards their responsibilities. Being part of the team is key with the flexibility to learn more.

Experienced operator required to set and run a Duran Omega Allpro gluing line with Ero cold gluing system and Preo Hot melt system.

The individual must have at least 3 years experience operating similar equipment - Bobst, Jagenberg, etc.

The type of work to be undertaken will be all kinds of straight line and crashlock cartons as well as various specialist trays, wallets and folders etc

The successful candidates will need to have a high level of expertise in running at least one of these machines, with willingness to train on others as well as opportunities of progression into our packaging manufacture business with opportunities to be trained in high quality die cutting, and the operation of complex folder gluing lines.

Requirements for the Role

  • To be able to ‘run’ or ‘assist’ one of the above machines.
  • A passion for print finishing with an excellent can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
  • An excellent eye for detail and colour.
  • A good understanding of all production processes.
  • To be able to read and understand ‘Job Bag’ information.
  • Positive attitude towards learning and new equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain quality of work produced to high standard.
  • Maintain a good standard of tidiness and order, especially during busy periods.
  • Being flexible when needed and team orientated.
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines

Two roles are available - working 3 x 12.5 hour continental type shift patterns.

You will be required to work 2 x Saturdays in a 4 week period.
