Salary up to £50K Basic + 10% OTE + Company Car/Car Allowance + Pension

Our client is a successful manufacturer and supplier of packaging materials to a variety of sectors. They are currently looking to recruit a Key Account Manager to manage and deliver forward thinking and proactive management strategy within a defined group of sales accounts of regional and national importance whilst driving volume and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio accounts of £4million +
  • You will be reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, whilst working effectively within a strong team ethic
  • Identifying future growth opportunities, developing and building into overall strategy for the defined area of work while liasiing with other team members as and when appropriate
  • Deliver the sales value and volume budget within a pre-defined customer portfolio
  • Negotiate, agree and secure new customer contracts and SLA's
  • Agree renewals of existing contracts
  • Ensure regular updates are provided to the wider group on service feedback, industry trends and growth forecasts
  • Provide market intel on competitors, to enable the business to develop strategies to mitigate their impact, undermine their activity and further develop their competitive edge
  • Lead the tender process for client portfolio in order to secure existing business
  • Improve the overall business profitability, where opportunities exist or can be created
