LITHOGRAPHIC PRINT MINDER
COMMUTABLE FROM NORTHANTS / CAMBRIDGESHIRE
SALARY £OPEN (Depending on Experience) + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
SHIFTS - Monday To Friday: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm (Rotating Weekly)
You may be required to be flexible re shifts as they may become continental in the future.
Our client is a well-established printed packaging manufacturer supplying into a wide range of market sectors in the UK. They produce packaging mainly for the retail sector which includes self-adhesive labels, linerless labels and printed folded cartons. These are produced using Lithographic, Flexographic and Digital Print Processes.
They currently have an opportunity to recruit a UV Lithographic Print Minder to join their very skilled printing team who have achieved BRC AA Grade Certification. You will be managing the printing of lithographic printed packaging on various materials operating on both of their Komori G40 6 Colour Presses.
** The client will provide full training on the Komori G40 6 Colour Presses **
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate their Lithographic Printing Presses as required
- Manage print and colour consistency, updating colour standard documentation
- Ensure that daily schedules are met
- Complete documentation for traceability and BRC
- Daily maintenance and care of the print machinery
Requirements:
- Ideally experience on a Heidelberg or KBA
- Minimum of 1 year Lithographic Print Experience is essential
- Have a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Diligent and attentive to detail
- An excellent team working ethic
