MACHINE OPERATOR - COATED FILM PRODUCTS

NORTHWEST CHESHIRE

£Open DOE + 24 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme, Overtime paid at time and a half

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm

A successful and growing manufacturing company based in Northwest Cheshire is seeking a Machine Operator to join their specialist production team. Operating a purpose-built machine, the company produces high-performance coated products used across a wide range of industries including print, graphics, displays, tapes, and labels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to join a stable business that offers training and a supportive team environment. The client will consider any background by preference would be someone from a Graphics, Film or Flexo background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate bespoke coating and machinery with precision and care
  • Monitor production output, carry out quality checks, and make minor adjustments as needed
  • Follow detailed work instructions and health & safety protocols
  • Record production data accurately and keep the work area clean and organised
  • Support general production and warehouse activities as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Machine operating experience is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
  • Background in graphics, flexographic printing, films, or similar technical environments is highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Practical, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, collaborative team
