MACHINE OPERATOR - PACKAGING
NORTH WEST
SALARY £OPEN (Depending on Experience)
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 6am till 2:30pm - 42.5 Hours
(Flexibility to work until 4:00pm if and when needed)
Our client is a corrugated packaging company based in the North West, they have an excellent reputation in the industry and have invested in new machinery.
They are currently looking to recruit a Machine Operator to run their Eterna 2100 (Bobst) Machine. You will be responsible for setting up the machine, adjusting the gluing application and monitoring the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking the quality of the glued product, making adjustments when needed and ensuring adherence to specifications
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine, performing minor repairs and reporting any issues to management
- Maintaining accurate records of production, glue usage, and any issues encountered
- Following all safety procedures and regulations
- Identifying and resolving machine problems, such as glue jams, paper feed issues, or machine malfunctions
- Working to improve the efficiency of the machine and the production process
- Collaborating with other operators and management to ensure smooth production
