A leading provider of disposable food and beverage packaging products is looking for a sales led individual to lead and grow their business. Passionate about all things organic and environmentally friendly, as part of their sustainability goals, they use recyclable or renewable materials where possible. Their ability to produce high quality products while committing to protecting the environmental, has resulted in rapid expansion, at a rate of 25% per annum.

This rare opportunity will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies, the gathering of performance data and creation of reports for senior management and shareholders. You will use your knowledge of the industry and its markets to look at ways to create growth, accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace, and avoid stagnation. Because the role involves a high degree of trend analysis, market monitoring, and result tracking, it is important that we find a number-orientated candidate with strong math skills and well-developed business senses.

The responsibility for profit and loss and providing direction to the team will require strong business acumen on top of excellent communication and people skills. As well as having excellent motivational skills, you will be a good co-operator and persuader. It will be crucial to maintain close, trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

This Managing Director role requires someone who likes a challenge and is excited by the thought of reaching company objectives through sales leadership.

Our client has set a minimum requirement of 10 years+ experience within a packaging firm, specifically working at a senior sales level, within a businesses with a turnover of between £5M - £10M.
