Based in Tunbridge Wells, Whitmar Publications is a leading B2B publisher for the print and packaging industries, delivering focused and high quality editorial both in print and online. Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Media Sales Executive / Media Sales Manager to join our team in a management role. In addition to publishing market leading titles and online channels, we also organise a number of face to face events, industry Awards ceremonies and conferences.
Managing your magazine from start to finish, you will promote our products to existing, warm and potential clients. You will be selling classified, display and online advertising, building excellent relationships and driving revenues forward. This position also requires you to be creative and look outside the box to generate revenues.
You will have an extensive database of existing clients and this role will involve expanding these and also contacting potential new clients to increase business development. Mainly office based the role will involve some travel and occasional overnight stays.
This is a varied and exciting opportunity and ideal candidates will have a B2B media sales background, ideally with an understanding of the printing and publishing industry.
Basic Salary is £26K+ depending on experience with an uncapped commission scheme. Commission is paid on an annual basis along with target based bonus payable on each issue.
