SHIFTS: 3 Shift Rotating System Monday to Friday - Double Days & Nights (37.5hrs a Week)

Our client is a point-of-sale marketing specialist for the retail industry that offer end to end services, from creative design and marketing insight to digital, screen and large format litho print, finishing, and aftercare.

They are currently looking to recruit a No 2 Cutting Operative, you will work closely with the No1 Print Press Operator and Print Team Supervisor and take instruction accordingly. In addition, you will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a willingness to undertake new tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting on Semi-Automatic Platens, other Platens, Guillotines and Esko Tables
  • Assist in setting up and preparing cutting machines for production runs
  • Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and consistency, adjusting as necessary
  • Inspect finished products for quality and conformity to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor machine issues
  • Perform routine maintenance on cutting equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency


  • Experience in a similar role within the printing or manufacturing industry
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and maintain machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
