Company - Established in 1999 this Packaging company focuses on the production of Transparent Plastic Packaging to the Food and Toiletries market.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the site is capable of delivering the business requirements
  • Manage and organise the resources within your control efficiently and effectively
  • Work as a lean operation, seeking continuous improvement whilst minimizing costs
  • Work with other operations managers to modify, improve, refine standard operating procedures
  • Optimise performance, cost effectiveness and maintain control of the cost base
  • Ensure the service we provide is right first time and on time and is delivering the best possible level of customer service
  • Show good leadership skills
  • Engaging with your team by developing and continuously improving communication , team building, training
  • Involved in recruitment
  • Creating reports when necessary

Experience Needed:

  • Previous experience of an Operational position
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous improvement , kaizen
  • Experience of controlling efficiency and minimizing costs
  • Preferably from a Packaging Production background
  • Good communication and team building skills
  • Previous management experience
  • Experience of creating reports
