We are recruiting for a global food & drinks brand, the roles include :
To start immediately/asap, a great opportunity for a new graduate or someone starting out who has some packaging technical knowledge and can problem solve and see the bigger picture & be able to put together a sensible recommendation on what the business needs to do next. You would complete a headspace feasibility /stand alone project, reviewing all the packs in the portfolio to identify the top worst offenders for headspace, working with Engineering team/machine suppliers to define what needs to happen to reduce headspace in the worst packs and building a proposal of what needs to be implemented to move in the right direction for headspace reduction.
In addition we are looking to recruit two experienced Packaging Developers to start immediately/asap & able to implement changes in the factories, work with internal teams and suppliers to develop packaging, mostly likely to work on Value Engineering projects (implementing new suppliers), however also to help with the implementation of the Sustainability Transformation programme. Ideally you will have experience of flexible packaging but not essential
Predominantly working from home so location is flexible. At some points in these projects travel to the Yorkshire R&D centre will be required & also occasionally to some EU countries once business travel resumes for packaging trials again.
