The Internal Account Manager will manage a set portfolio of accounts, and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. We are looking for someone with hunger, drive and resilience. You will be required to translate client needs into something the business can act on and use influencing and negotiation skills to convert sales leads into orders and upsell where possible. You must also have to be good with numbers for this role, maintaining pricing levels to optimise sales and margin.
Understanding which products best match customer needs will require a candidate who knows the packaging industry inside-out, so proven experience in a similar role within the industry is essential. Knowledge of the packaging merchanting industry would put you at an even greater advantage, as would knowledge of the world of e-commerce.
