Job Description

IDL Colourlink is a large format graphics company within the SGK family. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in creating campaigns for windows, shop interiors, events and pop-ups. We collaborate with brands from initial idea, through to prototyping, creation, delivery and installation. Our extensive production facilities mean we can offer the best value, quality and efficiency, from the distribution of large campaign roll outs though to the installation of one-off hand finished displays. 

The Production Director leads the production team to develop processes, policies, and workflows with a goal of continuously improving efficiency, accuracy, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction. This role partners with various departments and teams to work collaboratively in managing production projects and ensuring strategic goals are met and exceeded. 


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Experience in running a print factory, ideally large format print for retail however candidates with litho or small format digital will be considered
  • Experience in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
  • Periodic travel may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • People management experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients, suppliers and contractors
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
