TRAINEE / JUNIOR PROJECT ASSISTANT - LARGE FORMAT DIGITAL

BRISTOL

£23-24K + Use of Pool Car + Staff Parties etc.

Our client is a leading Large Format Digital and Graphics Company based in the South West. They are currently looking to recruit a Trainee / Junior Project Assistant to join their existing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Account Manager you will be expected to manage small works and assist with site surveys and project estimating. (Full training will be provided)
  • Complete accurate site surveys formatted to handover to design.
  • Attend client site meetings where required.
  • To effectively manage small works projects through the business.
  • Produce accurate quotations. Update changes.
  • Translate tender documents into quotations.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist projects through the business to ensure "on time in full" delivery.
  • To liaise internally with design, production and installation teams to ensure the job runs within agreed budgets.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Understand and comply with all relevant company policies and procedures.
  • Promote and maintain a positive image of the company at all times.
  • Approximately 75% of this role will be office based and 25% will be onsite

Required

  • Highly organized and can work well under pressure.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Background in signage and graphics manufacture or installation, estimating or project management within related industries an advantage.

SENIOR DESIGNER - LARGE FORMAT DIGITAL

Our client is a leading Large Format Digital and Graphics Company based in the South West. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Designer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Creative Director you will be expected to accurately create artwork from concept or client's supplied files / instruction, follow client's brand guidelines or design requirements, and ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for production according to the specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meticulous attention for detail and a clean, creative design style.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to client guidelines.
  • Ensure artwork interpretation is achievable within production contraints.
  • Prepare accurate artwork from approved design and brief.
  • Ensure client guidelines are followed.
  • Develop and update master artworks and guideline documentation.
  • Responsibility for ensuring account / project managers are kept informed of the progress of the jobs they are working on, and any impact there is to the production plan.
  • Providing colour proofs / samples for client sign off.
  • To ensure that all images produced and proofed are correct and reviewed in accordance to the company procedures.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects, big and small, simultaneously and good time management.

  • Pass new enquiries generated to the correct area of the business.

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the graphic design industry, an interest in interiors is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
