Full Time Position (37.5 hours) - Hybrid Role between their Onsite Office and Onsite Production Facility

Our client is a very well established, profitable and highly recognised independent carton manufacturer who service an impressive customer based within a wide range of industries including food, automotive, Petcare, engineering, healthcare etc. Through their own fleet of vehicles our client distributes throughout the UK. They are a long established business with an innovative flair who pride themselves on quality, reliability, attention to detail and always providing the highest level of customer service.

They are currently looking to recruit for the role of Quality Assurance / Health and Safety Manager, due to impending retirement of a longstanding team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting a safe working environment throughout the company, whilst ensuring productivity and efficiency is maintained
  • Ensuring industry specific legislation is met, along with detailed knowledge of the company's customer market requirements
  • Making sure the final product meets the company's high-quality standards by adhering to stringent internal and external policies

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate would have knowledge of the packaging industry, where food and healthcare standards are in force
  • Knowledge of cardboard based packaging would be extremely beneficial
  • Food related packaging experience would be a significant advantage with working knowledge of BRCGS, FSC/PEFC certifications and Health and Safety
