A multinational food manufacturer, which is home to some of the most loved brands in Britain, has a key opening within its in-house packaging division.
Directing and implementing our clients research and development policies, objectives and initiatives, the fundamental aim of this R&D Packaging Director role will be to ensure activities maintain competitive position and profitability through the development of new packaging solutions and improvement on existing ones. Consulting with top management and managing 6 direct reports, you will make recommendations based on research findings and product performance.
This renowned organisation is looking for an R&D Packaging Director with over 15 years’ packaging technology/development experience within a large FMCG company. This experience will give you the scope to correctly understand and anticipate market demand, planning and developing product packaging to meet consumer needs.
This role very much requires a technically and analytically minded individual with strong man-management skills. Stakeholder management/engagement experience is also key, along with a strong knowledge of how to drive sustainability best practices.
The nature of this role will incur frequent travel, visiting our client’s various sites across the UK and beyond.
