REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

HOMEBASED

TERRITORY - NORTH WEST OR COVENTRY AREA

Salary £Competitive (Depending on Experience) + 22 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays + Pension Scheme + Fully Expensed Company Car + Fuel Card

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am till 5:00pm

TERRITORY: Yorkshire or Midlands

Our client is a leading supplier of new and used pallets to various industries across the UK. Offering a full-service pallet operation from one off load to trailer loads a week. They make standard wooden pallets and have contacts to supply bespoke pallets that are designed to customer specifications while also repairing pallets on and off site.

Due to the company having a strong period of growth securing major nationwide contracts with future plans to expand further they are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team. You will have the responsibility for growing the business in either Yorkshire or the Midlands. The client will offer full training to the right candidate with excellent career opportunities.


** This role is approximately 80% New Business and 20% Account Management **

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling new pallets, second-hand pallets and pallet related services
  • Finding and negotiating surplus pallet purchase
  • Maintaining and developing existing accounts
  • Continue the growth of the company across their product range
  • Identify and convert new opportunities in both existing and new markets
  • Build/maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Develop national and regional accounts in both the sale of new and used pallets
  • Continuous improvement, constantly looking at more efficient ways of working

Requirements:

  • Strong Business Development experience
  • Comfortable navigating through complex company hierarchies to find the appropriate point of contact
  • Skilled in developing a sale funnel to deliver results
  • Experience with managing a wide variety of customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills
