SALES REPRESENTATIVE - CARTONS

HOMEBASED - CANDIDATES CAN BE BASED IN SCOTLAND OR ENGLAND

Salary £Open (Depending on Experience) + Car + Commission 1% on new orders the first 2 years after opening a new account + 34 Days Holidays (includes 8 Stat Days)

TERRITORY: MAINLAND UK

Our client is a manufacturer of printed folding cartons (approx. 90%) and labels (10%), supplying a variety of market sectors including food, drinks, pharmaceutical and healthcare markets.

They are currently looking for recruit a Sales Representative to join the team. Looking for someone who will generate new business with experience and contacts within the packaging industry. You will be reporting to the Managing Director.

Our client will consider candidates from any packaging background ideally with food, drinks, healthcare and pharmaceutical market sector experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore and develop new business opportunities with targeted customers
  • Maximise these opportunities and develop a long-term working relationship to allow growth
  • Devise a sales strategy, sales forecast and budget
  • Identify appropriate niche markets for development by the company
  • Negotiate and secure, within agreed parameters, profitable business
  • Co-ordinate with other sites to allow maximum development where possible
  • Manage customer requirements and present new innovations in co-ordination with other departments
  • Be a positive ambassador for the Company and establish strong relationships with the customer promoting the Company's USP's
  • Maintain effective communications with all sections of the company

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Sales Representative or working within the industry
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications or equivalent including Maths and English
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexibility, willingness to train and develop within the role
  • Clean, valid driving licence
