Our Client is a leading manufacturer with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes ensuring high-quality products that serve the Self Adhesive Label sector. Dedicated to innovation and delivering outstanding solutions to their clients.

As the Technical Manager you will play a vital role in the company's technical and compliance processes. Managing the Technical and Compliance department you will ensure customer and end-user requirements are met. Providing technical and compliance knowledge and support to customers and end-users, ensuring the business quality and service is maintained. Motivational skills, attention to detail, diplomacy, team-work and excellent communication skills are essential.

Duties include:

  • Manage the Technical and Compliance team
  • Monthly reporting of departmental KPI's and management reports
  • Provide Technical expertise to customers, end-users and colleagues
  • Daily troubleshooting of technical and compliance issues and enquiries
  • Provide technical knowledge to customers and end-users
  • Oversee and accountable for the compliance systems and to ensure certifications are met (ISO & BRCGS)
  • Oversee the maintenance of procedures in line with certification body standards
  • Provide recommendations to compliance and quality processes and certifications
  • Provide updates across the business on innovation and new products in the pipeline
  • Provide training to customers and end-users
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues
  • Overseeing and accountability for the UK business FSC certification status
  • Lead the open-door and continuous improvement culture
  • Liaise with colleagues across the business in the UK and Europe
  • Off-site/multi-site troubleshooting and sales related visits

The hours of work as standard are 08.30 - 17.00 however this is dependent on the travel required, a full UK Drivers licence and the willingness to travel to clients sites is necessary to fulfil this role.
