Technical Sales Manager - Flexible Packaging

£40-60K + Commission/ Bonus + Yearly Bonus + Car + Pension

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of flexible packaging, supplying mono and multilayer performance films into a range of markets including food, retail and POS. They design, extrude, print and convert in-house and have BRC/IOP accreditations.

Looking to recruit a knowledgeable and Technical Sales Manager to manage a portfolio of key customers and their product development requirements. The ideal candidate will be very hands on with press passing, material specifications and product recommendations.

Key Skills / Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company procedures are followed in line with BRC Quality & Hygiene accreditation
  • Managing existing accounts and conducting customer site visits as well as generating new business
  • Experience in the food markets is key for this role.
  • To understand the company product range, including materials and processes of manufacture to achieve bespoke sales propositions for our customers
  • To efficiently work in your area of responsibility to help achieve company targets and objectives
  • Taking and processing both customer enquiries and orders through to the customer service team
  • Manage existing customer account base through effective communication and building rapport through face to face meetings with the customers, for both new and/or existing accounts
  • Building effective customer relationships to ensure key relationships are developed & maintained
