UK SALES MANAGER - MATERIALS HANDLING / PALLET BOX SOLUTIONS

Our client is a Materials and Storage Handling Solutions company, manufacturing a range of plastic containers, pallet boxes and pallets for a range of industries from Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Food and Agriculture. They are currently recruiting for a UK Sales Manager reporting to the Country Manager in a National role to grow the existing customer base profitably and to proactively build a revenue stream of new customers. The role is homebased to cover the whole of the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, focusing on 60% new business and 40% account management.
- Promote the full range of Pallet Boxes, including customisations such as printing, wheels, and conversions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers across industries including food, meat processing, waste recycling, nuclear reprocessing, and automotive tech.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Monitor competitors and develop strategies to differentiate and position the company as the preferred supplier.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support.
- Identify and win important tenders and key customer opportunities.
- Drive sales through customer facing visits and utilise social media opportunities.
- Engage in the companies culture of working as a team supporting each other to grow the business.
- Achieve sales objectives, sales targets and meet agreed KPI's.

- Must have experience with plastic pallet boxes-this is the top priority.
- Strong sales background, with a proven track record in new business development.

- Good technical understanding.

- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience within the packaging / logistical industries.
