Our client is a market-leading supplier of premium packaging products, catering to a diverse range of customers in the retail, food, luxury, e-commerce, medical and industrial sectors. Their commitment to sustainability is reflected in their wide range of products they supply.
They are a rapidly expanding packaging distribution business, searching for a talented Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and sustaining a relationship with your portfolio of accounts
- Managing extensive range of products supplied, overseeing orders (OTIF), stock management, liaison with supply chain
- Acting as the main point of contact between your key client and internal teams whilst maintaining an excellent standard of customer service and support
- Cold call as appropriate within your market area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Monitoring market conditions
- Team meeting at the other company office once per month
Requirements:
- Be highly motivated with a successful track record in fast-moving and dynamic business environments
- Possess good commercial acumen and evidence of success in key account management
- Have a proven track record of previous sales experience in the packaging sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate about business development and enthusiastic about nurturing sales opportunities
