UV FLEXO PRINTER BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Salary up to £38K (Depending on experience) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Working: Monday to Friday / Double Day 8 hr Shifts

Our Client is a well-established, well invested packaging solutions provider who currently require a trained Flexographic Printer to operate UV flexo presses on a double day shift pattern.

UV Flexo label printing experience is ideal, however our client would consider a candidate with a lithographic background or other flexographic experience. As an expanding company they are able to offer a great salary and potential for the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and adhering to safe working practices.
  • Setting up and running the printing presses, mixing inks etc.
  • Colour matching.
  • Flagging defective material and potential issues.
  • Monitoring quality from a running press.
  • Inspecting reel end samples and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality.
  • Ensuring data is accurately recorded.
  • Following Work Instructions and Customer Specifications.
  • Meeting or exceeding performance standards with regards to safety, waste, quality, productivity, and environmental standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Actively getting involved with initiatives and projects.
  • To have an understanding of all procedures relevant to the role.
  • Used to operating to key performance indicators.
  • Co-operate and participate in continual improvements to the press and wider company environment.

  • Must be a reliable team worker but able to use initiative and work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
